I took his "Politics of the Global Economy" class in the winter of the 2017-2018 school year. He always allocated the first 5 minutes of class for students to discuss current events. He is unbiased when presenting a debatable topic, and encourages students to present evidence-backed, rational arguments rather than emotional arguments.

International Relations is a very interesting topic to me and it wasnt difficult to pay attention to him. The readings for this class are reasonable BUT the first exam was absolutely obsurd. the average was in the low 60s...he expects you to remember every reading which was aroudn 15 going into the first exam plus all the stuff he covers in lecture

Dr. Casey is the best humanities prof I've had so far. Attendance is mandatory though, because if you can stay interested in his lectures (which is easy to do), then you'll ace the tests. People say he's opinionated, but I disagree because he knows both sides of about every issue out there.

The book was extremely dry, Dr. Casey's lectures were a bit better, but I don't recomend having him first-thing, it kinda leads to dozing off. The essays and papers were fine. You'll get the extra credit on the quizes if you watch enough Simpsons and Family Guy.Mentioning these in class makes him happy.Remember, the evil monkey says "Don't cheat!"

The class was great because of Dr. Casey. The book for this class is really boring. The tests a pretty easy, and the papers aren't too bad. The only drraw back to this class is THERE IS A FINAL. But it is all essay.

I thought the class was fairly dry and boring, but Casey tried his best. He is an easy guy to talk to and get along with, and his tests are fairly straightforward. The paper assignment can be confusing, but talking to him helps. The final was easy, and most likely saved my grade. Overall good prof.

Presents alot of opinions a facts. Very degrading with irrational with comments when grading papers. Alot of non-constructive criticism. Asks you to write about one thing, but then criticizes you for not writing about something totally unrelated.

He is a great guy and loves what he does...knows his stuff too. His class was very hard and a lot of work, but fun and there were very good discussions. He will work with you on deadlines and help get you started on papers if you are having trouble.

His lectures are great! Unfortunately, the book is not-so-great, and you are forced to read it if you want to pass the weekly quizzes. The readings are VERY painful.

Very unclear about paper assignments. The question he asks is not the question he wants answered, and he will mark you down if you don't answer the magic question in his mind. inserts too much of his opinion as fact into his class, very hard to talk with
