Yes, she is an older professor and yes, the time in class is spent listening to her define words from the book. However, her exams are SUPER EASY multiple-choice if you pay attention to her reviews (the test questions are straight from the review, word for word). If you pay attention to definitions and enjoy self-study, you'll learn and get an A.

She does not know hoe to teach at all. She just spend like the last 10 mins of class reading through the book for the vocabularies and that's it for every chapter. she does not give any instruction for the term paper, basically she just ask you to do a 10 pages paper by yourself.

Ancient and absolutely frustrating. Her idea of teaching the material consists of flipping through the book and reading vocabulary words at random. She is not clear about what material will be tested, and she assigns a 10-page paper, which she doesn't even read herself. Horrible experience.

She's like 90 years old, but she knows the material. She just read the book in class and in one hour you will be done with one chapter. She even fall asleep in class sometimes (that's the good thing). DO NOT take her shes doesnt explain well.

Textbook is a must and you gotta bring it to class. She gives a lot of work, including a minimum 10-page term paper, newspaper articles from the New York Times/ Wall Street Journal/ any business magazines. Even though my major wasn't Business, I spent more time on her assignments than my major ones. I did all of them and got an A- in the end.

Leff is like 100 years old and yes u can learn from her. But she wants a lot of work, and she gives her class with powerpoint and reading. After that she will ask you questions and expects every student to have their books at all times.

She is not recommended at all. She is a very nice person, sarcastic and funny in her own way but her work is very unclear. She wastes time, She's never helpful with the questions you have. Reading the text book is a waste of time. She just skims through the chapters in a very fast pace & hardly explains Anything. You can do that at home. After all the hard work she gave me a C. And I did all the hws, projects on time, & passed her tests. Don't take her course.

Don't get her confused for the 'other" Leff. She is definitely old and recites vocab straight out of the book. You'll also need to buy and bring the book to class because she'll point to some stuff, etc. I don't recommend taking her class. There aren't any good marketing professors at LaG!!

Ive heard of students who took her class, did all work with high grades and got the lowest grade in transcript. DONT TAKE HER IN ANY BUSINESS CLASSES!!! Waste of time and energy.
