I enjoyed this class. There are only three tests for this course. You have a time limit of 40 mins for 50 questions. I am allowed extended time which was an hour and I find it wasn't enough time to even take the test but I managed. The test became easier each test.

I liked this class. Dr. Yodis had health issues and cancelled a few classes. She made up for it by posting her PowerPoints and gave extra points. She also started telling us exactly what we need to know for the test. Go to class and pay attention. Tests are challenging. You have to learn the material not just memorize. Read ?s carefully.

Dr. Yodis does not perform well as a professor. Her class is fairy easy and so are her tests. She knows what she is talking about and is very enthusiastic about geography, almost too enthusiastic.

Go to class, take notes, spend a little time studying and you will do great. Dr. Yodis is well travelled and her lectures are interesting. She is really easy going. Her tests aren't hard if you put a little time in studying. No need to read the textbook, but it does come in handy when studying and referring back to the figures. Curves grades.

She is very passionate about geography. Her lectures were kind of boring because she'll just read off of powerpoints. But she doesn't put powerpoints online so if you want notes, go to class. She doesn't give homework or any other bonus points so score good on the tests.

She is an awesome teacher. Took her fort 103 because my advisor said everyone should have the chance to have her, and she was right. Class is always laid back. Her lectures are very on point and easy to note from, go to class and you'll breeze by. I'm taking her again for 104.

I took this class online, and it was incredibly easy. There were only 5 tests (no opportunity for extra points), but it was still easy. Study the notes, take the tests, and you'll do just fine.

Excellent teacher, you know exactly what to expect. All questions on tests are directly from lectures, didn't need the book. Doesn't post lecture notes however, you have to write everything down. Don't miss class, she gives a lot of info. Non-cumulative final, exams very straightforward and simple if you know the material. No homework, just 5 exams

Dr. Yodis is very passionate about Geography and teaches using personal experience. She is very well travelled. She teaches using Powerpoint and her slides are not available online, so you have to go to class to get the information. She takes roll during each class. Her lectures contain LOTS of information so studying early is highly recommended.

WONDERFUL TEACHER!!! Best at Nicholls. At first she comes off as "off the wall" but she soon grows on you. Very detailed power points and she is enthusiastic about the subject. Her cheesy jokes make class more interesting. I cannot wait to take her again someday.

Great teacher! I love her personality and how enthusiastic she is about Geography. There's five tests through out the semester and the questions come right off the Powerpoints. I didn't buy the book and came out with an A. However, the tests can be a little tricky. You just have to pay attention to every detail in your notes!

She is a little strange but extremely knowledgeable. I've never seen someone so excited about geography. She gives you real life examples to everything, and if you go to class and take notes, you are set. The only thing you might use the book for is to look at diagrams, but I didn't. The hardest thing is to learn new terms, but otherwise, its easy.

She is to put it lightly eccentric but you will love her. I know I did. She teaches with clarity and her tests are a bit challenging but not from hell (they are do-able) I made a C in that class. It really was a filler I focused my energy in other classes. The subject was interesting and stuck with me.
