I know a lot of people would think she's the most annoying professor ever, but she really just wants people to learn. Everything she does is to help her students, she gives a ton of work so that your grade isn't based off of just tests. She helped me through a tough time, so I owe her a lot. Don't write this professor off, she's one of the best!

I honestly loved having her as my professor this semester. She's a tough grader when to comes to essays. It may look easy but if you don't explain well enough don't even bother thinking your getting an A. This was the reason I got a B and not an A this semester. The midterm and final are very easy its just based off the notes/readings in class.

She was very into what she taught and loves what she does. If you like a dedicated tough professor who will work with you to try and get you to where you need to be. choose her. If you like an easy laid back professor, she's not the one for you.

Dr. Procario Foley is the best professor I have taken at Iona. Her Lectures are pretty long. And Personally, I thought her exams were pretty difficult, but she really goes the extra mile to help you. Ask her for help or tell her about your concerns, she will help! She helped me decide what to major in!!

She is a nice person and clearly has passion for her work. However, the class itself can be very boring. There is a lot of material to get covered and she gives tests on occasion that can be difficult if you do not study. There are also many books and readings. The worst is that she requires you to attend 3 religion based events and write essays

I was surprised to see she has a lot of negative reviews on here. The material she teaches isn't really on the exciting side so I can see why a lot of people would say she's boring, but it's really the material more than her teaching style. She's a really nice lady, not a lot of papers, and the tests are easy if you just pay attention

Walking into class I had huge expectations. She seemed as a great teacher at first but has time passed by the class got worse. Classes were extremely boring and hard to follow. Test had nothing to do with course work and the books that are assigned where very hard to get into, which made papers very frustrating. Do not recommend this professor!

Dr. Procario-Foley was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I took her class at Iona back in 2002. She is extremely into what she teaches and is knowledgeable about her subject. She is NOT boring at all. She keeps class fun and interesting. You go to school to learn and if you take her class, be prepared to actually LEARN some things!

she's very passionate abt what she is teaching but SHE CANNOT TEACH. She is very boring and has unreasonably high expectations of the class. Normally, I would be interested in the topics in the class but she made them so boring!It is impossible to stay awake while she is talking let alone follow what she is doing in the class.
