Comment:
If you're excited by the history of great scientific discoveries such as the cosmos, general relativity, and stuff at the atomic level, you should have no problem finding interest in the course material. However, the lectures are very dry and boring. You could pass just fine by reading the text on your own time. Recitation is helpful, too.

Absolutely felt robbed when it came to grading. Felt I deserved an A-, and pre "curve" I had a raw score of 89.6/100. Ended with a B+ after this so called "curve" after being told "not to worry" by the TA. The content is interesting but Norton makes boring. If you want to do well, read the notes out of class, his voice will put you to sleep.

It is an easy B if you simply try, A if you do what he says. He gives you passages to read, and if you sit down and critically read them half an hour a day or procrastinate and read all of them the night before you can get an A. If you just skim you'll get a B. It's Einstein, some parts are more interesting than others. But overall you learn a lot.

Very interesting course, which he does a great job of teaching. If you go to lectures it should not be difficult to get an A/B.
