Dr. Stone is kinda funny, but she requires WAY too much work for a 100 level class...seemed like a lot of busy work with a high school feel to it...other than that, she's cool..I just wouldn't take another class with her....

Dr. Stone is a pretty decent person, but she relies too much on freewriting and group work, gives the class a "highschool busy work" feel to it. It would also be nice if she attempted to get to class on time and not held us over because she got there late!!!

Professor Stone is a cool lady. Her class can sometimes be long and repetitive, but she is lenient and if you don't want to participate, she doesn't care. She requires a portfolio to be turned it at the end, it is soooo important that you keep track of every assignment. It will make your life so much easier at the end. Just keep up your work.

Great teacher, who made things clear and understandable. Lots of reading but do it and the homework and you will get a good grade. She makes the class fun even for middle aged men. ;)

She is a great teacher; she was willing to talk to you whenever you have questions about the text you read in class. She has a great sense of humor. She expects a lot out of her students, but as long as you are willing to work in class her class is great.

Dr. Stone is amazing...she's interested in any subject she teaches and reaches out to you for answers and ideas. It's true, she does expect a lot out of you, but she is also very lenient. She always gives you more time if you need it, and the discussions in class are the most interesting ones i've had in any class. TAKE HER CLASS WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!

Dr. Stone is a very intelligent individual. However, she assumes that everyone else is as the same level as her. Assigns far too much homework (novels in a weekend, along with a 40? worksheet, free-writing, and a website). My advice, keep up with the work. If you miss one assignment, then you fail the course.

We did a lot of freewriting, but it turned out to be an easy grade when it was all said and done. She wanted a lot out of your papers, but she was extremely fun. I just didn't enjoy the subject as a whole, but she was a very fun professor

I like her as a person and she is extremely intelligent however expects too much out of her students with the time tha she is given. I would reccommend her to people who do not take more than 15 hours because it was impossible with 18!

She is funny and very intellectual. I did think the class wasn't focused enough with all of the political agendas that took up all of class time. She also didn't give us enough time to read a novel. She expected us to read a 250+ page novel in one weekend.Expectations were a little high.

Very nice and very funny. But the class was too rushed. You had to read a whole novel in a weekend to spend one MAYBE two days talking about it, which made it not worth the time. Very willing to help students out, overall she is OK.

great teacher...highly recommended. Her sense of humor is great. makes class fun and easy to get through. only bad thing is that we only had 2 grades for the entire semester. a 10pg paper and a working portfolio. GREAT TEACHER!
