I did not enjoy Life Writing. Prof Lambert is a nice lady, but she does not like freshmen. The FYS is intended to teach students about college-level writing, but she expected us to be 100% prepared before class even started. She is not helpful in office hours and I often felt like she was rushing me out of her office.

She is so sweet! Of course, we obsess over Jane Austen together which may bias my love towards her, but I nevertheless think that she's a wonderfully engaged professor who lets you have a lot of creativity with her assignments so long as you support a point. Always willing to talk outside of class and to send you links to regency websites ;).

Rambles a little during class, but nevertheless, very approachable and helpful. She is a nice person to talk to and will definately help you out in a crunch. She is always in a good mood and really cares about the success of her students.
