I had a Professor Gooding for intro to macroeconomics and Advanced Macroeconomics in 2000. He was one of the best instructors I had at ASU. His lectures were informative and entertaining. Truly seemed to care for his students.

He sets up sessions with his TAs and that helps other friends I talked to although I was never able to go. He makes the best out of the drab material and his exams are very straight forward. If you read some and go to class you'll pass with an 'A'.

If you actually open to book, the class will be cake. Slept through 75% of his lectures and still didn't have to take the final because I had an "A." Suppose it might be hard for you liberal arts majors tho

really nice, funny teacher, entertaining, but yeah, the tests are hard. I studied pretty hard but each tests grade got worse the more I studied it seemed, ended up with a B, so it was a harder class than I had thought.

Mr. Gooding was one of the sweetest men. He was an amazing professor, and no one compared to him. We had subs, and we were all lost. Mr. Gooding taught a difficult subject, but he was great and gave you many opportunities to get help. Awesome!

I liked him, but i found it difficult to stay awake dring lecture. I would have enjoyed class more if every one was engaged and not having loud conversations all around me. He was nice and it is very possible to get a good grade if you study.

Class requires some effort to do well in. Is difficult to pay attention when the lecture hall is so big and mostly filled with immature and noisy freshman. Haven't ever taken a class where students were so disrespectful and loud during every single lecture.

this guy is nice but who cares when his class is ridiculously tough. his hw and quizzes r easy but they barely account for anything. its all about the tests and they r very difficult. i would study for 4 hours and still fail the test. this class was soooo boring and it SUCKED! dont take gooding

Hard class. You must go to every lecture because he has quizes to check attendance. The quizzes are decided by a coin toss. Very clear and helpful. Just a hard class. Just do the little hw he gives and the quizzes. Hard tests. But every econ class is hard.

Class was easy. I went almost every class and took the quizzes. I did all the homework in class. Overall, I spent close to NO time outside of class and pulles of a 94%. Easiest econ teacher that I know. He even gives a little curve at the end!

Gooding is such a sweet guy but his lectures are soo boring..bring a lap top to play games. It's cool cause he flips a coin to take quizes which are easy. Help sessions are good for homework. Tests are what got me but hes not too bad if you need this class!

Don't let the first few weeks fool you. It gets harder over the semster, but the test reflect the homework. Do it (don't copy) and go to the help sessions to ensure 30/30. If you skip class, find a buddy to take your quizzes cause those points add up quick! Go to class and do homework = easy 'A'!
