Dr. Jackson has gotten a bad rap. I have great respect for her. Although I had to redo work, this was part of my learning experience so that I would be prepared for the future as an educator. I appreciate her allowing us to redo our work for a higher grade. I learned alot from her.

I think Dr.Jackson is a very good professor. She is hard to understand sometimes and her way of explaining is at times unclear. However, I do not think she deserves the harsh comments that are being made. She really desires for her students to know how to work with children. I recommend her, but do your work!

I tried so hard in this class. I met with for hours at a time outside of class, going over every pronoun and punctuation mark in the assessment reports for her class. I would still fail them miserably. I really think that she thought I was a failure and unfit to teach. I average a 3.7 GPA every semester, but i struggled hard to pass this class.

One word sums it up.....RUDE!...This woman is heartless and has no right to be teaching anywhere. She puts you down when you ask a question and makes you feel stupid. By far the worst person and professor I ever ran into here at tech. She thinks that she is above everyone else just because she is a professor.

Dr. Jackson is very intimidating, but she wants you to learn. There is a lot of information that she teaches you in this class and expects you to remember a lot. Most people think she is picking on them or being hateful, but you just have to understand her personality and realize that she is not doing it intentionally. Not as bad as I expected.

She is the WORST teacher I have ever had. She is unclear about EVERYTHING and if you ask her a question, she answers like your stupid and you should be as smart as her and know it all. You have to do everything her way or she will totally dislike you. She's the kind of teacher that wants you to fail. No way around her! The class and her SUCKS!

She is not that hard. She tells you whats going to be on the tests, and presentations are to be exactly what she wants. If you recorrect the things she wants you to and respect her, she will give you a good grade. There's no way around Dr. Jackson, so just suck it up and take her :)

She scares me. She is so nit-picky and really hard to please. She will call you out in class and TRY to make you look like a fool. I have a hard time understanding what exactly is required. She is very smart and I learned a lot, but she makes it more stressfull then it needs to be. But don't let her get to you. Take what she says and learn from it.

Dr Jackson is not half as bad as everyone says. She is very helpful. My advice to her future students would be Do NOT go in the class thinking you know eveything! She hates this. Just listen to what she has to say and for god sakes RESPECT HER and you will do fine.

The hardest CFS class I've taken so far. This class could be wonderful if someone else taught it. It was really hard to learn things because there was so much info. I made a C in the class and an A in the practicum. Good luck!
