I really love Dr. Moore! This was my first time in a philosophy class and ended up making it my minor because of how much I enjoyed it! He continually remain unbiased even though he really makes you think about what you believe. He also was always in a great mood and made class so enjoyable. He's an absolutely fantastic professor!

Dr. Moore is a good teacher, he makes you think and sometimes challenges your beliefs and morals. For the philosophy class I took, this is what made him a good teacher. However, the previous fall semester was his first time not teaching an online class, and there were many things he could have done better.

Comment:
Dr. Moore is an interesting professor to have. He knows his material and will occasionally go off on tangents, but overall is a good professor. He has a very odd sense of humor but laughs at his own corny jokes, which made me laugh. His tests were tough, but if you read the book, come to class, and take notes, you'll have no problem getting an A.

Comment:
Only grades are four tests (the optional, cumulative final can replace the lowest one) and they are difficult. It's hard to bounce back if you do poorly on one. The material itself is confusing and his lecture style makes it even more confusing. Take notes and don't skip because it's hard to catch up.

I enjoyed his lectures. He has such a funny sense of humor that when he laughs at his own jokes, I cant help but laugh too. He's a very easy teacher. Most of the material definitely leaves you thinking "Wow.... Who am I?!?!" If you pay attention, its quite interesting.

Took him for Logic. Really interesting class, just a puzzle that continuously gets more complicated. It's easy to get an A if you do the extra credit which is also practice. Will help if asked. Some memorization. No real world use. Don't take if you don't like solving puzzles. Most people will find this class a challenge.

He could learn how to profess better. The guy has zero personality, and makes the class really boring. The only grades you get are on tests. There are five tests, and he drops the lowest grade. Final is also optional. Study for the tests and you'll do fine. Just get some coffee before class so you don't fall asleep.

How do you ace the first 2 test, gets A's on all other assignments and get a B in the class. I most apperciated the "I'll go back at look at things and send you an e-mail." Way to go on responding to e-mails. Thanks for giving me a B.

It is sometimes hard to follow his lectures or understand what he wants on papers, However, if you go talk to him before the assignment is due he will tell you exactly what to do. He is very accessible and really wants his students to understand the material. He is challenging but if you do the work you should end up with an A or a B.

Dr. Moore is a very good professor. He makes things clear and promotes class discussion. I suspect the negative comments are from people who are dumb and just didn't understand the material.
