I had Dr. Perrell for both astro prelim and detail design. Since each team project is different, he forms the class around what each project needs. Students are definitely more "free-range." He lets you follow your passions-structures, thermal control, MMOD shielding, rocket propulsion, avionics, rocket engines, orbital trajectory, and avionics,.

He is an excellent professor (NOT) but just come to his class everyday pay attention, take nots, DO THE HOMEWORK and do ONE problem on the board every homework assignment and earn brownie points!!! You will do will in the end with the amazing curve (with brownie points)

He is a really easy professor. Just do your homework every time, do the bonus problem and if you want an really good grade in the end even if you get low grade in his tests then you must do 1 homework problem on the board every assignment. :-) Take this advise and you will ace/b-ace his class!

Do your hw and take notes even though there are alot and you'll be fine. Tests are open notes/book, hw is tough but he'll give you hints on it in class. In the end he was more than fair with my final grade.
