I took the online AENG 510 course and he is not responsive to student emails, regularly gives incorrect "hints" for homework and quizzes, regularly changes scope of problems within the last 1/2 day of a week-long assignment, does not keep up on grading, so we never know what we have to work on before the next week's assignment is due. Awful!

Dr. Eslami is the MVP. He came through in th end with grading, only thing is if your want to learn, this isnt the guy for you as we did not end up learning alot of stuff we were supposed to. But I am not doing structural engineering so its all fine with me, however if you are, im sure you will want to look elsewhere professor wise. EASY A.

No clear grading scale was used at all during the semester, our first test was way after the last day to drop. Never available during scheduled office hours, and even when you made an appointment he would often blow you off. Half of the class ended up signing letters of grievance.

If you'll take him you'll regret your life choices specially during the exams. This professor changed the values and the graphs at the final exam 4 times. Also you'll never know if you're doing well in his class since he delays grading papers till the last minute. He posted the grades for hw and the midterm after taking the final.

Proff. Eslami is a respectful man. I think he used to be the best but not anymore. I had him for struct II but he gave us a hard time. He pushed every thing tell the end. His homework were very long! He gave us two projects in the last week of classes! He hand us the second project a day before the last day of classes. (Had him during Summer).

I guess he's OK for undergrad but as a Masters teacher he's horrible!! Doesn't explain anything and his grading system is messed up!! Grading conceptual my @$$....he's know for FAILING Masters students!! This is unheard of!!

Really great Professor! Cares about the students, learns everyone's names. Didn't make us buy Curtis's Structures II book, he taught from his own notes. Still remembers my name after two years. Take him any chance you get!
