Absolutely awful professor. He speeds through his lectures and you cant follow. To top it off he tries to give the wrong answer during a lecture but nobody catches it cause hes going way too fast. Dropping his class was the best decision Ive ever made.

The worst professor I have ever had. He goes through material way too quickly and does not clearly answer questions. The way he grades is very confusing and hard to follow. The only good thing was that he posted what grade you needed on the final to pass the class.

NO... JUST NO. DO NOT TAKE HIM. LOTS of homework. LOTS of test. He is ALL over the place I'm not sure if he knows what he's talking about half the time. Never responds to emails- his office hours are strictly set and when you go to ask him for help to explain things he gets frustrated - He feels like you should already know everything. STAY AWAY

If you taking a math course expecting to actually be taught something, you're in for an unpleasant surprise. His lectures are impossible to follow as he blazes through his work and never stops to explain himself. He's unhelpful when answering questions, and tends to not care if you are confused. Expect to spend a ton of time teaching yourself.

This guy was by far the worst teacher I've ever had. He gets so far off topic and then tries to relate it back to the material, losing everyone in the process. His homework is endless and even the TLC has trouble completing some of the problems. He lacks any sort of compassion for his students, skips around material and RAMBLES. Don't take him!

Erik Packard is probably the worst professor I have ever had. Being that I was in college algebra and not a higher level of math, he thought he was too smart to be teaching such a "low" level of math. He beats around the bush if you ask a questiton and doesn't help review for tests. Even skips material because "it's easy and we should know it."

Worst teacher I have ever taken. He was consistently late to class everyday, and he would lecture so quickly you could never keep up. Most points are from the tests. He made us take half of the course exams (3/6) within the last 3 weeks of class because we fell so far behind. He is also very unwilling to help when you need it. DONT TAKE!!

Dr. Packard teaches you to do math using methods not found in any textbook but that he made up himself. Because of this, 80% of what he teaches only makes sense to him. He refuses to teach out of the textbook because in his words "this is much easier in my brain." Have fun trying to teach yourself a semester worth of material if you take his class.

worst prof, very unclear when grading papers, lectures are a mess he is unorganized and when he does problems on the board he will confuse you more than teach you. There is quite a bit of homework assigned and when he grades it his grading is unclear. Would definitely find another professor.
