Sandgren is a goos teacher. So not expect to try to slack through his classes he does give a fair amount of work. He has "art jokes" that are dumb and he tends to follow a few to many rules to teach aspiring artists. But he teaches very good courses for background in art. only drawback, he is a 1 man art department and drawing 1,2 is taugh all as 1

this guy is amazing! i love art and he was the perfect person to teach me because his passion for art is so extravigant. if i could i would take every class he offered just to have him as my professor.

Excellent teacher, excellent man! I took The Human Story (co-taught by Eric and Lynn Lerych). I loved the class, and learned SO MUCH. The best part is that I STILL remember most of it, nearly a year later!

I actually have taken several fine arts courses from Erik (did you really have him for Speech?), including Design 01-03, Drawing 101-03. He is very talented, a little tough with his critiques at times, but shares his skill. Must endure his puns, tho!
