Was afraid of taking him bc of previous comments but he's actually pretty easy. Curve was like 55% for an A. Exams had like 10 MC, 5 conceptual and 5 w/calculations. Tons of EC clicker ?s. Get clickers right and do hw and pass exams and you're do great.

Very Very easy class. All you need to do is study his clicker questions for both midterms and final. His grading scale makes it very easy for you to receive an A. Lots of extra credit. You have to go to his classes because he gives many clickers

Ma goes super fast! He teaches from a powerpoint, but only with a few slides and he works through problems so quickly that you can't even write them down. He's not necessarily a bad teacher, but he just went WAY too fast.

he was ok. It seems like he once used his powerpoint slides but gave up on them so now he puts them up and teaches from 2 or 3 slides. He teaches primarily out of overheads he makes that you can print out that are very convoluted. You should concentrate on the overheads if you want to do good on his tests.

Comment:
This class seemed hard at first because Professor Ma goes through his lectures really fast with Powerpoint slides. However, if you do the practice exams, and attend class a few weeks before the final, you should do well! In addition, his exams are all conceptual, not numerical, so study the formulas 'cause the homework problems won't help!
