Errol is one of the single greatest professors I have ever had. I'm shocked by the other feedback on this site - there's no way it's applicable. Errol will teach you the responsibility you hold as an artist and how to use ceramic as a medium to fulfill that responsibility. Expect to learn. Expect to grow.

I have to disagree... he's a nice guy, but he sucks as a teacher. He doesn't spend ANY time individually with his students, and his assignments are not good for the beginning level... and his crits weren't great either.

intro class was awesome. errol was eager to help students(both vpa and non-vpa majors) grow creatively. i learned a great deal and wished i had explored ceramics a long time ago! his project ideas were great- not youre standard intro class crap.
