Probably one of the most bias people I've encountered (which says a lot considering she teaches Social Issues). Her class is general is easy, it's the stuff she says that make it intolerable. The class will actively attempt to rebut what she says;explain to her why it's a stereotype/generalization/racist/etc comment but she doesn't understand

She's nice. If you need to talk about any problem, she'll be understandable. Overall, great teacher. As for the work, the semester has been a breeze. Two book reviews and a 5-page research paper. One mid-term (easy) and a final. She emails you the notes too. Pretty manageable class.

Take Professor Schaefer for Social Issues if you really don't want to do much. She's really nice and understanding. Takes attendance. Don't need to read the readings. She emails you the notes, easy midterm and final (directly from notes), 2 easy book reviews, plus a group project at the end on whatever topic you want. Easy A.

This was one of my easiest classes here at Ramapo. She makes the class really interesting and the tests are not hard. There are a few papers but they are easy also. She will extend deadlines if the class asks and she excepts late work. There is also an easy group presentation. One of the books Without A Net was actually a great book! Take this prof

Easy. No quizzes. midterm and final. 2 easy book reviews. Easy CEC. You dont need to do anything in class. and a 5 page paper about your choice of topic and a powerpoint with it. Shes easy going and allows things to be handed in late. Take her if you dont want to really do anything

Mildred is the SWEETEST lady. Readings are not required because she discusses them in class (powerpoints posted online). It is actually interesting stuff if you pay attention. Group Research Paper & presentation but she helps you SO much if you ask.Exams are easy.2 book reviews are easy GOOD BOOKS TOO. Accepts assignments late!She knows her stuff.

I'm a Soc major so I thought this would be a relatively interesting course. I was wrong. I hated this class because she is so dull and has no idea what is is talking about. She is totally unclear with what she wants, for example she said she wanted 5 pages for an essay then the week after she said she wanted 2. Avoid at all costs.

The class is incredibly easy, but also rather tedious. I stopped reading the book, because I would come into class and have to take notes on what I'd just read the entire class period. She talks the whole time, mostly on rather obvious subjects and points. She's very nice, but very unclear about what she wants. Easy, but annoying.

This woman is horrible. Sure she is a nice lady, but her class is horribly boring. Also I had A's and B's on everything and she failed me on my final which I wrote 8 pages for because i missed a small part of one question. She plays favorites and does not know how to grade. Although I'm sure you'll pass don't expect a fair grade.

I never quite understood what this class was suppose to be about until the very end. Things are not clear and Prof. Schaefer even has a hard time with the readings. She tries to offer feedback on the outlines, but again, exactly what she is looking for is not always clear. Not the worst class... but not the best.

Very boring teacher. Very easy class. You don't really have to do the assigned readings. Only 2 tests (midterm and final) both of which are ridiculously easy. One paper which is short (3-5 pages) and easy. Easy grader. May be a boring class but it's an easy grade.
