Amazing teacher, I first took this class online and had to drop. Took him for Acc 211 and 212 on Saturday morning. Great instructor, he wants you to do good so he will help you out. Highly recommended, probably one of the best teachers i've had in my time at Delta (i'm in my last semester)

He is really nice, personable, approachable. Answers questions in a way students of all levels can understand. An assignment over 2 chapters at a time, due every two weeks with a test on alternate weeks. Grades fairly, helps with homework in class and is very specific about what will be on tests.

NICE, personable man, but minimal TEACHING ability. Minimal homework & testing (4 homework assignments & 4 tests; no final exam); however, I found his teaching to be lacking & I feel I learned nothing while still earning an A-.

The previous rating was left by an imbecile! Hoffman is so cool, take the Saturday morning 9-1 class your never their pass 12 unless the class is struggling. Gives you a break every hour for 15 minutes. He teaches 211 in the fall then 212 in the winter. I would highly recommend, he is so funny too and he isn't trying to be funny!

Mr. Hoffman is awesome! He really helps you learn everything and truely wants his students to succeed. Has an easy-going teaching style and never makes the students feel stupid. He is very funny. Bring a dictionary to class for extra credit!
