DONT LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO SAYS THIS LADY IS A BAD TEACHER!! History can be a dry subject, but she is the NICEST teacher at Loyola and tries to do everything to make the content interesting. Students that don't like her class are lazy and lack a brain! Awesome history teacher! Would love to take again! :

she actually made the subject interesting. she didn't read dry facts off the powerpoint, but explained everything in her own words. On her quizzes write A LOT, pay attention to what she says in class regarding what questions she wants you to answer on quizz/test. 3 quizzes, 2 essays midterm and final, not bad at all. I would take her

She is very nice and understanding! History can be boring, but she tries to bring in music clips and movie clips to make it more fun. She's very nice and isn't a hard grader. If you follow the power points and skim the chapters, the tests/quizzes are very easy. She's kinda old, but I think she's very cool and interesting for the material she has.

She is not boring. Students who complain of every class being boring are themselves the dullest, stupidest people who contribute NOTHING to class.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE teacher. I was bored out of my mind. She assigned pointless papers that she took forever to grade. Two quizzes counted as part of your participation points. One even counted double points. So your grade is basically 2 papers, a midterm, and a final with a few added participation points. AVOID HER!!!!

Lectures are like book, kind of boring. Use the study guides. Extremely helpful. 2essays and Midterm and final. Identification/Short Essays. Have her read your essays before they are turned in. She's a very good professor. I enjoyed the class, and it was as painless as possible for a core.

Lectures right out of the book. You can seriously take the book to class and follow right along. When asked anything specific about names/dates she's clueless, and is often corrected by students. It's an easy A if you read the book, but prepare to feel like you paid for nothing.

this class seemed difficult at first but it wasn't that bad...there's a lot of material you have to study for the tests but she gives study guides that have what could be on the test...i big paper and 4 other shorter papes but not a hard of a grader...as long as you include all the info you're fine

Her lectures are boring and she does go fast. She tries to scare you at the beginning, but it's really not that bad. There is a lot of reading, but you can get by without doing most of it. She also offers 10% of EASY extra credit. It was a decently easy A... but only if you do the extra credit!

decent enough lady. didn't really like / dislike her or the class. the tests are all broad but she gives a study guide which basically tells you anything that could be on the test. she also has review sessions where u can get her to answer all the questions. simple, but boring.

Mitileneos has no clue as to what she's talking about. Students have to correct HER, because she has no idea about history. She messes up dates and feeds you wrong historical info. People stopped showing up to her class mid-semester b/c it was THAT BAD!

She really wants all the students to do well. She does have very fast lectures, but she is always willing to stop to answer even the most ridiculous questions. You can definatly get an A with a some work. Do not need to use the textbook because all the tests are based off of her lectures.

Her lectures style is very fast and she shoots out many facts, hard to write everything down. And then our first exam came along and I realized I didn't need to be taking all those notes. You just need to study the study guides and u'll do fine. I have probly opened the book like 3 times

Her classes can be horribly boring, but as long as you go to class and take good notes, the tests are easy. (The book is useless until test time, when I actually need to read something over).

she likes to give written exams and she really likes it when you bring up obscure references to things she says in class. pay attention to those and put them into your test answers and you'll get a good grade. she takes student feedback seriously.

Nice lady but extremely boring. Somewhat easy as long as you can memorize a lot of trivial information. She's a pushover when it comes to due dates.
