Comment:

Coppa is one of those professors you meet once in a blue moon. She has lots of energy and is a HUGE science fiction and fantasy nerd (in a good way). Had her for Science Fiction and Fantasy, but I wish she did not include fantasy. The fantasy stories were uninteresting. Coppa is not the most reliable when returning emails, but she is hilarious!

Extremely intelligent, yet I never found her to be pretentious. In fact, during class discussions she encourages people to go with their first instincts. Has a lot of respect for students if they put in the effort. A lot of reading, but its manageable. She can be a pretty tough grader, but I found her comments to be extremely helpful on papers.

Very full of herself. Can be funny and engaging but will tell you how smart she is and you are not on a daily basis. Hard to follow her trains of thought if you blink. She always goes waaay off course.
