This Teacher is fun to hear from about history. he put a nice twist on what we all know or don't know. He tries to get the whole class to take part in the class. He will tell you when there is a test or a Quiz. He finds new way to get everyone into him's class and take great notes

Worst professor I've experienced at Cowley. Powerpoints are extensive (over 100 slides on some) and vague, quizzes give you less than a minute per question (absolutely dreadful when you have ADD), tests are pretty much another longer quiz and not an overview of the section, unapproachable. I'm a straight A student and I'm struggling with a B.

Doesn't Give you any feedback. Chapters take hours to read and there's always one or two questions not even in the chapter. Unwilling to help and the lecture power points never correlate with the course work. I'm a Straight A Student and am struggling to maintain a B.

Attend class, DON'T be late, DON'T talk in class, and DON'T use cell phone. You will take a TON of notes the whole class period with periodic quizzes. If you study the material good you will do fine. Some test questions he will not cover. I didn't like him at first but he grew on me. Get on his good side.

You will take a lot of notes in this class. I found it much easier to keep up with his power-point presentations with a laptop. Read the applicable chapters in the book. 80% of test questions are from his PP's, the other 20 from the book. He give a lot of opportunity for extra credit. Good instructor, don't be late ~ no cell phones in class!!!

I took his American Government class online. He didn't explain the fact that the tests are based on his powerpoints, not the text book. Once I figured that out, I aced it, but feel like I learned nothing. As a History major, I'm avoiding his classes like the plague.
