You have to study one chapter each week to face weekly quizzes. Quizzes count for 55% of the grade. one presentation, one paper and easy finals--half take home(100 multiple choice). The key is to score as much as possible in weekly quizzes if you want to get an A. quizzes are not easy. But there are some extra credit opportunities in them. Nice guy

Funny guy, boring course. quizzes every week, one presentation and one lengthy paper. the quizzes are hard if you don't read the book. In general hes a good teacher though, lots of experience its just the class is boring. He also has lots of stories

Bottom line, horrible.I was surprised when I read all the positive comments. He's def not what most people described him. He is a VERY (and I mean it) horrible grader. Quizess are hard, and mostly based on your writing skills so make sure you are a professional writer or else! The amount of reading load is as much as reading 12 news papers a week.

Prof, Grippo is a great professor. He has very encouraging attitude towards his students. I learned a lot from him. His final was little heard but quizzes were ok.He is not a very tough grader. He made auditing class very interesting. He is one of the best professors I ever had in William Paterson.

I had a hard time with this professor, but what helped me get an A in the class was doing the homework he assigns. His tests are ver much based on them. He is not tough with the grade. If he sees that you are improving, he will lean more towards the improving grade rather than just get an average of your grades.

I thought Professor Grippo was very helpful and learned a lot from his accounting experience. I know for a fact that 75% of the class didn't fail. Some of the previous posts are clearly moronic and invalid. How can someone have a 4.0 avg. in accounting if they didn't take ACCT 211 yet? Some people are not meant accounting or college in general.

I had a 4.0 in accounting (my major). I dropped his class after the first test. He failed 75 percent of the class, and really, really did a very poor job teaching. he kept saying , "I am just an advisor, teach yourself" some people seem to like him, but i worked hard, and this was my experience

I LIKE this proffessor, i think he's the BEST. He takes his time to teach, entertain questions,explain stuffs and goes over every h'work he gives us. What else more do you want fellow student(s)! S'times you need to blame your own self. If you put in much effort and time you definately going to pass his exams. I beleive he is a good man. Thumbs UP

I did the assignments and did poorly on the exams except for one. The majority of the class failed and I know this because he would email everyone's grades and they were horrible. He didn't even give the students an evaluation to take for him. He belittles people and tries his hardest to embarrass you If you take him make sure you take a light load

After reading all the comments about prof grippo nd hearing the horror stories from people who had him, i was scared 2 take him but he was not that bad for Auditing. In fact he was awesome! He is also very funny. Def take him esp if u want 2 LEARN and have KNOWLEDGE about Acct/Auditing. Def not as scary as people say he is. Class average was a 3.2.

Listen to him very carefully. If he says he may do it, he will do it at least once. If he says what he has done before, he will do it again. As for the class, attendance was mandatory, with a daily quiz to start, which was part of your grade. If you put the time into the class like you're supposed to, you will get the grade. If not, you won't.

He is a really hard professor, but he is really good. There is a lot of work in this class, including weekly quizes, three really hard exams, and a final paper. You need to be prepare for his class and do the hw in order to keep up with him. Overall he is fair. You will receive the grade that you deserve, but you will work hard for it.

Cool guy. Really nice. Gives 10 pts just for having two or less absences. Gives a random quiz at the beginnin of each class and a good amount of hw but nothing that would take you too long to complete. As long as you do the reading, you'll be fine. You have to try real hard to fail this class, he practically gives you a B. Nice guy.
