A truly great professor! He's extremely clear in explaining things and will answer ALL questions no matter how long it takes to do so. He's also just as enthusiastic about AerE as you are as a student, which makes for a great classroom atmosphere.

I took this class a year ago and it remains the class that I enjoyed the most. I still remember the day Haan brought us cookies... Ohhh to have this man teach me again would be quite the blessing after having these crappier professors in the higher up classes...

He is very unorganized. Great lecturer but other than that nothing. Test are kind of tricky, but the thing that pisses me off are the projects, they are just busy work. Way to much time and effort put into something to get docked an entire letter grade b/c we plotted to many points on a couple of graphs. He goes for aesthetics rather than content

Best class I have taken so far. He is hands down one of the two best teachers I will probably ever have. He is excited about the material, and he knows how to get his students excited about the material. He is not averse to taking a little time out of lecture to show neat aero-related videos.

Dr. Haan is a really great professor. His command of the material is excellent, and although his Tornado research is very important, you are never made to feel like a second rate priority to him. Overall a great professor.

Great teacher, he is fairly easy, but that's due his ability to teach more than anything else. He is knowledgable on the subject and able to impart the knowledge better than any other Aero prof at ISU. To sum it up, fairly easy, but you will actually deserve the high grade because you learn a lot.
