Dr. Verbeck is a very organized and clear teacher, which is something I need. She is also very understanding and helpful outside of class. You're not just going to get an A for showing up, but she allows re-do's on papers and even the midterm...come on people!

Dr. Verbeck did a great job with the summer class I had with her! She incorporates research and scholarly articles with practice (wish more profs at St. Rose could do that). Methods we used and lessons we wrote were things that I (in-service teacher) could put into practice right away.

Very fair and practical. One of the few professors that I had that actually was a REAL elementary school teacher at one time. She brought practical ideas that were effectively used in the classroom. My only complete was that I spent a lot of money on books that wer'n not used. Overall A+ :-)

Dreadful. Unfair, unclear, horribly prissy. She has certain things she wants on her assignments -- but she won't tell you what they are! If you don't include them, too bad for you! I think the woman has no heart -- cold as ice, and conceited to boot.
