I agree with everyone here. He shows a genuine interest in Greek and Roman literature. He really makes the subject pique your interest. You would have never thought that Greek tragedies were so damn interesting! Eloquent, booming voice, and an approachable disposition are just some words to describe him. I hope he reads these ratings :)

Very, VERY entertaining and informative lectures. I would never skip his class. He really brings the course material to life. However, he teaches old-school style (he speaks, you take notes) and doesn't use any media except chalk and chalkboard. This is a highly recommended prof and course (HUMA 1710)
