Dr. Friedman is a funny lady. This class is for math majors only, so she just expects that we know everything. I dont know how she is for lower division, but the only knock on her is the handwriting. Other than that I learned alot from her because the class covered such a wide range of topics. Would take again.

I love Dr. Friedman. I can't read her handwriting but once you go to her office hour you'll find out she's such a nice person. Very helpful. Bonus points are really easy if you pay attention to her classes. Study hard and you'll be fine!

I found Friedman's class extremely easy. Some of the concepts may come off as confusing at first, but her teaching style makes things simpler. Some people may call her crazy and she does have an annoying voice, but she really gets into the lesson. One time she started jumping like a maniac when she was drawing a sine graph. Amazing class.

EXTREMELY DIFFICULT MATERIAL Annoying, disheveled, and unapproachable teaching style. Lots of homework and quizzes (bonus points are nice though!). Exams are super stressful and very difficult. Take regular logic if you are not a MATH OR COMPUTERSCIENCE MAJOR.

She has an extremely annoying and whiny voice that pierces your ear drums. She can't teach at all, and gives fairly difficult tests. Don't take this class. There are better teachers out there. Find Them. You will thank me

all the calc I teachers at usd are bad, and friedman is no exception. her handwriting is illegible, and she gets too caught up in her rants and screaming at the class in her unusual voice. this might all be forgiven if she had actually taught us any of the information. i never actually learned, and that sucks cause calc is awesome

She is the definition of an amazing professor. She seemed a little weird at 1st but once I went to her office hours and started getting help with the material she showed that she really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She is a very caring person and a great professor. heck she even helped me study for bio! :) Thank you Dr. F! :)

Dr. Friedman is extremely helpful. Yes its a difficult class, but any Calculus class is going to be hard. She really cares about her students, and truly wants everyone to succeed. She offers extra credit, and is VERY helpful in office hours. I would definitely reccommend her. Math has never been my subject, but she is so helpful and patient.

She is a pretty hard professor. Writing and material is pretty difficult, but if you put in the time to actually sit down and read the textbook, it is easier.

Prof. Friedman is an okay professor. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities on tests and quizzes, so it helps your grade out. She writes everything out on the board, and sometimes it is difficult to read her handwriting. She can get pretty annoying and her class can be boring, but if you had to take a math class, take this class. :)

I thought that Prof. Friedman was a really neat lady. She's always willing to help & wants you to pass this class. I struggled a lot in Math previous to this class, but she really makes you feel like you can understand this subject for once. I passed this class no problem!

Prof. F is probably the worst teacher I have ever had. She will not let you make up an assignment or quiz even if you're gone due to a death in your family. She messes up on her own examples, looks like a witch and her voice is unbearable. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. It does not even transfer to most colleges.

She is very confusing and sometimes you can't read her writing. She wants to help, but the material is very weird, nothing to do with algebra at all. Tons of extra credit opprotunities but the test can be hard. She's a bit of a scatter brain. Feels like she wastes time in class and doesnt let you out early. Overall ok class.

Best teacher for this class at USD. She really tries to be helpful and keeps the future application of the class in mind. Hard to focus in the morning, and for the whole hour twenty, but she tries to make it interesting and clear. Tests are a little challenging, but she tries to be fair in her grading. I really enjoyed her class.

Dr. Friedman is an EXTREMELY helpful lady!! I struggled in the class when I took her, but she really wanted me to succeed. She suggested coming into office hours when I could, and I ended up doing extremely well in the class. If you take her, and need help, just ask and you'll be fine!!!

I don't know if Dr. F still teachs this course, but it wasn't a good match. To be impatient AND to favor those students who immediately understand the info - this is not the person who should be teaching future educators. Given she brought in some "extras" like hands-on activities and helped more during office hours, but overall, one of 2 poor profs I had at USD. And at 7:50 AM no less....

She is very unclear. Her writing is too small to read and always seems confusing. But if you are brave enough to go to her office hours, she can be somewhat helpful.
