I took Doc as my first class on my first day at the Boro in 1993. He was also my academic advisor. I would like to catch up with him again, 21 years after I graduated. He has given his life to EUP, through it all, I would say he "perseveres." Trends come and go, but Dr. Gary gives and gives again. Doctor, I pray you are well.

Awesome, awesome prof! I was really nervous about this class and not looking forward to it, but within a couple months I was looking forward to going! He is the definition of a good prof and the class is relatively simple if you're not afraid to put a little bit of work in.

Day 1, comes off very abrasive, it is all an act. Mellow guy with mature sense of humor. 4 speeches for the semester, all with zero notecards or podium to help feel comfortable. Supposedly, final speech is only 1 graded. All speeches are recorded. Only final speech requires handing in binder and extra prep work (displays). No exams, little HW.

Simply amazing. That's all I can say. I thought I was going to hate this class, and it ended up being one of my favorites. Dr. Christiansen is one of the best teachers at Edinboro, hands down.

My favorite professor! He's a nice guy, and funny. You have four speeches and then your final speech (which is the only one he grades.) I was terrified of speaking to crowds but he helped me get over that. All you have to do is follow the guidelines he gives you for speeches. That's it. And those aren't even hard.

He's amazing and just like that one other person said I am also forever changed because of this man. He's my advisor now and I couldn't ask for someone better to come into my life and actually get down to my level. He cares very much about his students and advisees. Full of criticism but overall very helpful.
