LOVE this professor. You can tell he really cares about his students, even learns about what other classes they have and whatnot. He's super passionate about his work, and he displays that tremendously through his teachings. I would definitely take every class he offered if I was a music major. Definitely try to take him once.

Idk if it was 107 or not. It was the SWE that I was in. Being that it was just a music group, there really wasn't much to it. He's very clear about what needs improved and will help every individual with what they can do as a musician.

Ok, most of you don't know this...but Dr. Grant is actually Bob Saget's twin. haha!! really great guy, had him for symphonic wind ensemble. very understanding and picks great music. easy to get along with and is very helpful.

I've attended another university during my undergraduate and I am very happy to have worked with Dr. Grant. His teachings, above all, are applicable to the middle & high school music setting. Those who are critical of EUP Music may cite simple repertoire as a reason to avoid the university, but I ask - what high school band plays Persechetti?!

I've had him for Symphonic 3 times and am taking his Basic Conducting class in the Fall. The only thing I don't like is having that class at 8 am. Oh well, he is a great teacher and is right there ready and willing to help when you need it.

I love his class. I learned alot and I actually enjoyed going. His test are pretty easy as long as you know the period (time line)definitions and can listen to the music and describe it with the definitions.
