Such a great professor, I have nothing but respect for him. He took his time to answer any question I had even though I'm not the type of student that always asks questions, whenever I had one he took his time in answering it and making sure I understood. If you are interested in drafting choose him as your ENGT 101 professor.

Mr. Halvorsen was my Drafting 101 teacher. I have to say he & Jay Sunyough are one of the best teachers. I have taken in my pursuit for attaining a degree in architecture. I believe him to be a very efficient & effective teacher. He up to date with technology & relevant information. He is easy going but not a pushover.

He must have gone over extraordinary obstacles in order to reach his position.If there is anything he deserves is ADMIRATION. Not only he is intelectually brilliant but also honest and humane. He's very nice and helpful professor. His lectures are very good. You can tell he loves to teach and the work in class is easy. You must attend to all of his lectures and be on time to class. His homework assignments are fair and you can really learn a lot from class. Take his class if you are arch or engineering major, he has a lot of knowledge.

Halvorsen is the master in technical, mechanical, and architecture drafting. He will teach you every single one of them in the DRAF 101 class. He starts off with the hardest, mechanical and then the easiest architecture drawing. The equipment at Rio Hondo is the best. You will be working with coolest equipment around around.
