Do yourself a favor and look for a different prof for geology 110. He talks to you like you're a geologists who is oh so interested in rocks. But careful... if you don't act interested your grade will mysteriously be rather low... even if you compare it to his "future geologists" in the class

Actually, a very good teacher. His voice is a bit monotone, but the material he presents is very interesting. Some students don't like him because he doesn't allow: sleeping in class; going to the bathroom in the middle of class; go take a call. Very shallow reasons for not liking a professor. Grow up.

Horrible Teacher!!!! By far the worst teacher I have ever had! Study as hard as you can and no matter how hard you will not do well. Should not be a 100 level class. Go to his office for help and he simpily does not care. Feels like he has a personal problem with some students.

Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the subject, as is approachable - Does teach this class at a higher level than he should, as does grade the tests (multi-choice and 2-5 essay questions)at a much higher standard than expected. Overall, good teacher but hard. Recommend for GEO majors - NOT if you're just looking for a low lvl science cred.

OMG by far the worst professor i have ever had in my life. The test is nearly impossible regardless how hard you study you can never remember enough. He teaches a 100 level class at a 1000 level. He is unreasonable, not helpful. Avoid him at all costs unless you want to be stressed all semester to get a C

As said before, he is monotoned but he is really into Geology and it shows by his enthusiasm about certain subjects in class. I didn't have a problem in the class as long as you can remember a lot of things for the tests, it's really not that hard.

Way too much information for a 100-level class. Prof doesn't let his students use the bathroom during class-completely unreasonable. Takes attendance, which counts toward final grade. Tests rediculously hard! AVOID!!
