Dr. Rutledge seems to be a very cool guy and a fair teacher but he just can't seem to keep his far right wing political views from finding their way into his lecture. Nice guy though, would like to party with him.

Oh my goodness, Gary IS SO FREAKING AWESOME. He's a down-to-earth guy...some people may get pissed off having to go to lectures, because he does tell stories, but they are entertaining and RELEVANT. Those that get pissed off just want to slack off anyway. I learned more about government and it was actually FUN! Holy cow this man is my hero.

Wow what a teacher. I love the structure of the class. I give this teacher a big fat A. The challenging part of the class is going on line and doing your homework.. if you don't do it, you don't make an A. If you go to class and do your hw.. you make an a. Disappointing after good reports I'd heard of him. Didn't respond to e-mails, no feedback apart from grade. Excessive work (2 papers, one quiz and reading each week), poorly distributed work (doubled up on assignments during last 3 weeks of semester).
