Intro to Culture and Society is one of the hardest introduction classes I have ever taken. His in class essays are impossible and ridiculously hard for anyone to answer without notes. Don't expect to get an A in this class, his multiple choice is hard too.

An outstanding teacher, really knows his stuff. Respectful, interesting, truly cares. Tons of reading, but most of it great stuff. Long paper, but he was very helpful in improving it -- gave lots of feedback and an opportunity to rewrite. A good guy.
