Awesome teacher!. He makes a very difficult subject easy. He gives four tests and a final and he drops your lowest score. Gene is always willing to help students. He's the main reason that I was allowed to transfer to a four year university. I wished that I had him for all of my math courses.

Comment:

This online Elementary Stat class I actually took before. They changed the class up a bit. Although the class is still hard, it is a little easier than it was a few years back. Material on final seems much more advanced than what learned. But you get more than one try on quizzes and the site tells you which ones you got wrong. No hw mandatory.

Hard online class, and I think I would have done better if I had been in a classroom, but he was helpful, clear, and what more can you ask for? Only complaint - the tests are short and therefore if you get one wrong it is a high percent off - (I got 2 wrong on my midterm and got a "B")

This teacher is nice and tries to help out a lot. The class is pretty hard but he tries to make it as easy as possible. It's one of those classes that might be better to take offline. I didn't do so well but I suppose I could have studied more.

Very fair teacher. Extremely nice. Frequently & quickly responds to students. Extremely encouraging. Lectures have a basic structure and are easy to follow. Easy class if you follow the lectures. I recommend the online class if you have time to spend on it.

I first thought he was super good like what they said. but it turns out that he's a bit unclear and unorganised when he teaches in class. and sorry to say.. but he's rather mean. it seems like he just loves to make quizzes hard to identify for himself the smarter students. you really have to work your ass off for linear algebra..

Truly a great teacher. Take this guy if you have any chance to do so. His lectures are clear and cover all the material on the tests and if you can do the homework, you can ace the tests. He doesn't hold it against you if you make math errors in a high-pressure test as long as you get the overall concepts down. And if you can't he'll help. Awesome.

Unforgetable experience with this teacher. Mr Seelbach is totaly amzing. He is very clear, explained conceps in a very organized way and very helpful during office hours. Tests were not that hard, if you do homeword and can easily got an A. The only minus is that due to time constraints quite a big portion of interesting cocepts was skippd. :)

THIS guy is the best teacher!i have taken 2 classes with him and enjoyed each greatly. u can learn in his lectures rather than falling asleep. His tests are very straight forward if u know what u r doing!good luck and enjoy the class don't find too many teachers like him at community colleges

TAKE THIS GUY!!He explains things clearly, and is very knowledgable, very patience to listen/answer you question. However, I am kind of disappointed that he don't explain the proof of EVERY theory.(although this make the course easier)Quizes and exams are extremely easy.

Very knowledgeble teacher. Definetly knows his stuff . Explains things very clearly and makes sure everyone understands. Not by any means easy, but pushes you so you learn. You have to stay on top of your homework (especially for this class) or his quizzes will destroy you (like they did me).

This guy is just great. Hands down the BEST math prof I've ever had. You can see by the other comments that he's the real deal. I wouldn't say he's easy, but he's not unreasonable. He makes me have a passion for math again. The BEST!

It's not easy stuff (math never is) and you do have to show up every day and do the homework, but I'll be damned if he isn't the most clear and knowledgable teacher I've ever had. His lectures are even entertaining (imagine math entertaining...). Someone said it earlier -- he is definately the one.
