Great prof! He relies more on his own experience than somebody else's textbook. Presents the material in an interesting way and always has great stories. Is very fair and open to student ideas. You just never know what you're going to be tested on.

A great level headed teacher,who does go off topic from time to time but it's usually worth while. He's tough, but if you care about what he's teaching than you'll do fine. Easy to talk to outside of class and really cares. As good as Toles, but very different.

I had Gene Walz for 3 classes, I specifically took the classes he was teaching. He's a great guy, really friendly, genuinely interested in individual students - which comes in handy when you need a favor! He is challenging, but you'll do well if this is what you like!

Great prof. Has been there, knows what he's talking about. Hard marker and tester, but great lectures, which kind of lulls you into a false sense of security at first. Fun classes where participation is encouraged. Don't take his class if you're afraid of speaking up. Can opt out of any exam, which is good cuz they're really hard. A great guy
