Honestly, I quit going to class the second week because her accent was so heavy that I could not understand what she was saying at all. So if you're able to teach yourself, the course isn't all that hard. But if your looking for explanation beyond the textbook I would not recommend (unless you speak French).

Genevieve's class is a little confusing at first but do not be scared off!! She makes it very easy to pass her class, that is IF you study for the tests. If you don't study outside of class and expect to learn everything in classGood Luck! I She goes over the quizzes in class and drops a test score. Easy to pass if you Study! She grades very fair

Great Teacher, she's hard to understand because of her accent. Read the book you if you have any questions go to her office, that will help alot. I got a 4.0 in class because i read asked questions and study most of the homework questions. Hint: final exam are same questions from her homework packets that she hands out. Do the homework 100 points!

She is really hard to understand. At the beginning of the course she will mention that it is okay to have a different opinion than her but then will disagree with every opinion you have after that, I mean every opinion, she likes to argue. Somewhat easy but need to show up to class to understand what is going on and do the homework packets.

Use the book alot, study that and you'll do fine. study the worksheets before a test and you'll do fine. Even if you can't understand her accent, just follow the book. The book is politically neutral but she is not. All her videos and additional handouts are all extreme right wing view on everything. She told kids they should not all go to college!

Funny to watch her obvious conservative bias especially health care and job equality. Other lady in class argues with her and teacher doesn't know how to argue back because her interest only comes from talking points. She changes the subject and has a nervous giggle.

Decent teacher. All her tests and homework are multiple choice. Which...is a good thing and a bad thing. Do the homework packets then memorize the answers because half the tests are from the homework. Lectures aren't that great, but the book is pretty clear. Go to class for .2 boost on your gpa.

As long as you show up on fridays you will be fine. Dont miss any hw assignments as theses are worth 10% of your total grade in the class. Questions on final are stright out of the hw and previous tests

I wanted to drop the class because it looked like it was going to be to hard to pass her class. I stuck with it and worked hard, in the end I got a A in her class. She is very nice and will help you any time you need it. Attendance is not mandatory, but go every day and you can pass. Great Prof, bad class... no one can make this class fun!

Briand was Great! I was afraid that I was going to do bad in this class but Ms. Briand made it easy to pass. Short exams every week and three take home exams. If you put in the work you will do good in this class.

good teacher. she loves econ and wants to help her students in ANY way. you do have to work for your grade but it isnt what i would call a stressful class which is good. tests are in class and the final was optional (and take home) so you were dumb not to do it.

She was soooooo easy. Her tests are based off the homework packet that you fill out in class on Fridays, which were super easy too. She rarely changes the answers or questions. She did have a French accent which kinda made it hard during class but overall, I thought she was pretty good.

Easy easy class for me. All her tests were from the homework which was simple multiple choice from the packets. She never changed the questions either. Buying the book was sometimes a waste. Her French accent was difficult to adapt as well but she was soft spoken too.
