I would not recommend Dr. West to anyone who wishes to learn grammar in a correct manner. She is an extremely boring teacher who creates useless assignments which require no effort of any kind. Absolutely awful.

I LOVE HER!! I wish she taught 250 so badly. She is gives good examples of what she expects w/ papers and is an exptremely nice lady. I just adored her. She is ALWAYS flexable and willing to help in any way. Easy to get an A if you right many drafts :)

She gives you plenty of time to complete the assigned papers as well as great advice through peer evaluation and personal one-on-one conferences with her. You know exactally what she's expecting. Be sure to include detail into your papers and you'll do just fine. She's a very nice and helpful professor.

if you don't know the prefix, it's women and gender studies. she's so nice and the class is SO easy. Just go to class and know vocab words for tests and you'll do fine. You read one book and it's an alright read. I didn't read too much of it... but what I read was good. I recommend her if you need a cultural enrichment elective!

She's a pretty good teacher, but don't take Native American Lit. unless you want to spend half of the semester learning everything there is to learn about Ojibway culture (if you're from around here you've already heard it) and the rest reading really crappy books. Too many books for a 200 level.
