It's really not that bad. If you hate using a calculator take this class! You only need it for the beginning. Also, if you're good at abstract shapes and stuff, this class is for you! Do the labs, which you can work together with, and show up for the tests which are open book and you'll be fine! He's funny, but gets frustrated easily, so beware!

The math you learn in this class is the easiest ever! you just have to kinda teach it to yourself b/c this teacher is kinda hard to understand. He is kinda funny tho...he flips the chalk when he holds it in his hand and gets mad when he drops it.

This guy was such a jerk and made most of the girls in the class cry because he was so mean. He's not very encouraging and makes you afraid to ask for help. But after awhile he grows on you. He has a weird sense of humor. It's a pretty easy class. Just do all the labs. Quizzes and tests are open book. It's pretty impossible to fail.

At first I genuinely hated him, but once we got past the algebra and I understood his humor a bit more, I lerned to actually like him. It's a very visual course. Take it with someone who knows what they're doing - he allows you to work together on everything but the exams, which are open note/book anyway.

If you can, stay away from MAT 103! Professor Baloglou is the worst professor I have ever had in my college career. He will insult anyone for not understanding the material. Futhermore, he is impatient and not caring at all.

He was very unclear. We had homework assignments but he never taught us what we needed to do on them. The lectures in class were incoherent, he skipped around, and were irrelevant to our assignments. He could be a jerk sometimes also.

I had a 70 average in high school. When I first sat in the class I thought I was done I never used the book in his class. Take notes each day and you will survive, I promise. I ended up with a B- due to the fact that I missed three quizes. Go to class, take notes, and do the quizes and you will pass this class.

I'm completely stupid at math, but this class was downright easy. I went from working hard for a 70 in highschool to mid 90s without doing work in this class. Never checks homework, tests are easy. Quiz every class but they're simplistic. He's unintentionally funny, has a greek accent, and makes us catch his mistakes. overall= easy.

This was THE easiest class I have ever taken...and it's a math class, go figure. ALL of the quizzes and tests are open notes, all of the homework is done in class. He gets frustrated easily, but deal with it. It's easy work for an easy A. Just be friendly to him, and go to class. He will yell at you if you don't understand concepts, so be prepared.

Love this prof! Coloring in math class! If you don't finish an assignment in class, he lets you turn it in later. Of course he sounds abrupt; he's Greek! VERY HELPFUL if you catch him in his office hours. I went to class stoned and still got an A! You'd have to be pretty freaking stupid not to do well.
