I took a philosophy class in HS and I thought that this one would not be that bad, and I sure was wrong. The man is incredibly monotone and boring to listen to, the class is not interesting at all, and I would recommend somebody else. His Phil 105 class is the most dull class I have ever attended, tests are 25-30 pts, somewhat easy. TA's are beast.

George can be boring at times, but class is super easy due to the amount of extra credit offered. He gives you the choice on what assignments you want to do to get the points necessary. Never studied and never had any homework and got an A. Didn't even have to take the final.

I recommend whoever takes this class, learn as much as you can on your own & with a different book. His book's outdated & complex. His tests are similar to math tests. What you learn in class, the test is that on steroids. You learn examples of arguments consisting of 2 letter dictionaries, then see problems on tests requiring 4 letter dictionary.

Overall the class was kinda fun, had to sit in the front raw cause can't hear him much. There were a lot of EP offered, IDK how a person can fail this class. No HW, Only a paper and 2-exams and a final. Half of the paper TA's provides you, just have to do little work at the end. TA helps a lot,Hint:"get to know TA's a little" It helps, it's easy.

I'm not going to say "boring" to define George Schedler. But I will say, his non-projected voice and mild rambling make it difficult to understand what's going on. There are some things he goes over that are simple and other times, he talks on and on and I don't even know what he's talking about.

I was told by may people this class was supposed to be fairly easy, but with this teacher it is hard. He mumbles when he teaches and is not good at relating his examples to what we're supposed to be learning. I reccomend this teacher to no one.

Phil. 105 was the hardest class I've taken yet. I struggled to stay awake. His monotone voice and outdated examples were brutal. The TA's are very understanding and helpful though!

If I had the choice of taking this class again and swimming with hungry sharks while my eyes were bleeding, I would take the sharks. His tests are bogus, the class is boring. If you have a choice, do not take this class.

Never in my college career have I had a prof. that was as good as George. Never a dull moment in that class; my favorite time being when George surprised us with a pizza party. Fair warning- he was known to humiliate and belittle students whose cell-phones went off in class. He also enjoyed preaching the New Testament during class breaks.

Huge lecture class of about 200 students when I took it. Thank goodness for TA's. Not a bad teacher, but the class blows. 10 extra credit points are available, and thats a lot when the class only has 100 points in it! No homework, only tests and a paper. 61 is a C, so if you get all 10 ec points, you only have to get a 41 to pass with a C!
