Greek 101 was the only class I've ever been proud to get a B in. Lalonde is very old school and makes no secret of his high expectations, nor does he make any attempt to hide his disappointment if you don't meet them. That said, he's always willing to help you if you're having trouble and explains things well. Loved his dry wit, too.

One of the coolest profs at Grinnell. He makes no secret of his high expectations, and can be impatient sometimes, but will always take time to answer questions and clarify things. He often digresses on the history or etymology of a particular point, which is nice alongside the grammar bootcamp.

Great professor. He knows his stuff more than any other prof I've had. Bit of a monotone, but if you get past that, he's really quite witty. Very helpful - often in his office until 10-11 PM, even on weekends.
