This man took an interest in me that helped me get into medical school 38 years ago. I owe him a debt of gratitude for his time and commitment. Without him I would not have been an incredible success in my medical career.

Extremely difficult if you miss class. Test questions come a little bit out of left field, but for the most part he does a good job explaining everything. He's very helpful if you go to him after class. Overall a difficult class.

Really tough tests, but he's very open to helping you if you ask for it. Still, most people don't do too well; test averages are low. Very nice man, easy to talk to, dry sense of humor.

He is a cute old man who will definitely take the time to help you if you're struggling. That being said, 99% of people struggle in his class, so he's gotten very good at helping out lost students. To be frank, the tests suck and averages usually are in the 50s. However, go to his office hours and make a good name for yourself and he'll pass you.

If you're looking for an easy A, Dr. Seebach isn't your top pick. If, however, you truly want to learn the material and gain a grasp of chemistry, he is the professor you want. While very old school, he genuinely cares about his students and wants you to succeed. Course is very challenging though. Test averages were in the 50s.

His class can be challenging at times, but you shouldn't have a problem as long as you study hard enough -- The test averages are usually in the 50's.. but don't let that scare you! ;)

If you fail to make a good first impression it's like climbing a mountain to impress him down the road. Do well early on to earn his respect, otherwise its an uphill battle. He is a decent teacher though. Be prepared in class and come to class with questions to ask him. He likes that

He's not a bad guy, or a bad teacher but I think he has a tendency to "write off" students too easily. My advice: make sure you do well and show interest early in the course, because if you're one of the unlucky ones that get on his bad side, you're out of luck.

Dr. Seebach is a great guy. I love the trips to Germany! It would help if he spoke German but he is one hell of a chemist. Four stars!
