While her class was easy, I definitely feel that I did learn a lot about poetry and my own writing from her. She's very interesting and very sweet. You can tell she gets upset when students don't care about what she has to say, so please, give her the time of day! You won't regret it.

Creative writing course consisted of only poetry. A bit disorganized and not all there, but will give you an A for effort, and is very encouraging. Sweet lady, easy class.. but it may just give you that extra push to write the stuff you've been meaning to anyhow.

A very sweet and nice lady, always willing to help and answer questions. A little disorganized and almost always late for class. We hardly ever used the books that were assigned. Gave my class no mid-term or final. Even though this class was suppose to be creative writing all she really did was poetry. Easy A.

She's nice and soft-spoken, but pretty spacey. Easy grader, hard to get hold of if you have a question outside of class (doesn't respond to emails), and she's fairly scatterbrained. I love to write but this creative writing course was pretty disappointing.

Shes a really sweet lady but on the slow side. You have to have patience with her because she's just very laid back. She didnt give the midterms back til the last day of class. But if you hand in your poetry portfolios you'll do fine. Shes open minded which is great for a poetry professor. If you have the patience, go for it!
