I took this class online and it was a huge pain and really boring. It was a lot of busy work, the texts were boring, and he is a hard grader. He is kind of annoying, but he is pretty understanding. If you try hard you will get a good grade, but its a really annoying class. Do not take unless you absolutely have to!

great guy. he loves his subject and really knows what he's talking about. probably one of my favorites. however class tends to drag a little bit. if you don't like talking in class, stay away from his classes, because he will force you to participate.

Excellent professor, dedicated to his profession. First English class I've taken in a long time and it has really improved my overall knowledge. Read some great classics, exposed to some much needed literary works. Professor grades tough but that's because he is an Ace in his profession. Money well spent, excellent mentor, no matter what grade.

Not a difficult class. This guy is a bit full of himself and has a body odor issue as well. (Fair warning!) Has his own text which you cannot return. Anal about your writing. If you are not a strong writer don't even bother with this class!

He will make you hate any piece of literature you read. He takes twenty minutes to ask a question and although he likes students to engage in class, he often embarrese them and yells at them. If you want your money's worth-pick a different teacher. You have been warned!

It doesn't suprise me that people don't like him,nor does it suprise me that he is also well liked. He is one of those professors that will tare you apart if you're a smart ass or if you're lazy. If you do you're work and pay attention, you will do fairly well. His class lectures are somewhat boring, but he is very helpful

Professor Bryant is a good teacher. A lot of the class was just discussing the readings, but it's done in a way that isn't boring. Funny guy too. Don't listen to the negative reviewers, his humor and knowledge of the subject (his name's on the cover of the book for this class!) make this class pretty damn good.

I'm so surprised to see so many negative comments for Dr. Bryant. I'm sure they're undeserved. I very much enjoyed having him for Research Methods last year and am looking forward to taking another class with him this fall. He fosters a relaxed and fun atmosphere in class, time flies, and much is learned. People need to lighten up.

Extremely helpful. Encourages his students to participate and when they don't he'll volunteer you but he's only doing it for your good. Trust me if your willing to give it your best then this class is right for you. He's also very understandable :)
