Do NOT take him. I got an A for his class by the grace of God. This professor won't prepare you for tests. He blames the students for not knowing the material. He gives random surprise quizzes that have a high percentage weight. and a test every week.

Im a student with a G.P.A of 3.9, and 52+ credits. Having come from classes such as English, Calculus, and Physics, instructed by professors that have a Doctorate degree; I have learned to work hard for an A grade. This professor failed the entire class, professor is arrogant, you musts learn on your own, he doesn't care if you are confused.

I didn't learn anything and I also bought the book for no reason. Personally I think he doesn't teach, he expects you to know everything after one read. The tests are very hard and not related to anything that was taught. There's no review, you ask questions and hopefully you get a clear answer. he WILL make you look stupid.

MY ADVICE IS DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS or you are only going to screw up your GPA.I studied hard for the midterm and final and throughout the entire course and I got a C-. When he shows up in class he doesnt really teach anything because he wants you to do your part as a student, but he doesnt does his as a professor.

Do not take this class. This is a heads UP! Professor is extremely sarcastic not just to me in particular but to anybody who has a question. It discourages you from even speaking to him. He makes you feel inferior to him. He'll show you how its done and if you dont get it hell treat you like the class dunce. One of the worst experiences i've had.

Stop complaining about Arroyo. He is tough, but no more tough than the real world out there. If you study and show ambition you will have an A, he just wants you to put efforts. He joked with me ,he wasn't the most helpfull professor in the world, but I got A. Do the work and you can have an A as well! It's for you, not for him.
