Prof. Marun is insane. NEVER clear when assigning homework, & goes off syllabus without telling us, so she'll say X activity was for homework when it wasn't & then yells at us because we didn't do it. She is wildly unclear about project requirements. Once she read people's grades out loud. She's fine for upper level classes but not for requirements

Prof. Marun is a wonderful woman who truly cares about her students and wants them to learn as much as possible. You will become stronger in Spanish for having taken her class, but it does require a lot of effort. You must go to class and participate. As long as you show effort, you will get a good grade.

Dr. Marun is a great professor. Class is entirely discussion based, so you need to always be on top of your reading. There was no final and no exams - just reading, papers, active participation, and a final presentation. No surprises - she's got a great, bubbly personality too!

The films required to watch for class give a great basis for class discussion, but be prepared to have an ample amount of homework for each class, either answering questions about the movie or writing a 2-3pg. paper.
