Funny, I am usually an overachiever, an enthusiastic and passionate student but he seemed to see that as intellectually threatening. He would actually ignore me when I made comments. Poor guy. He's just not all that competent. I wish he'd re-evaluate his teaching style and figure out how to connect with his students.

Rather easy class but pretty slow moving and boring. Grant is nice. His written tests were semi-challenging but graded steeply. A few quizzes weren't too bad. Workbook work that was the busy work, not too bad. A few old-school Steven Covey video clips to put you to sleep. I would suggest looking into other professors.

If you can take a different professor- do it. He likes to talk about anything but the subject. You watch a few videos and just chat all class. He waited until the last 2 weeks of class to cover half of the material- not very organized. It created a lot of stress during finals.

This is a pretty cool class but if you can take it from a different teacher then you should. It kinda seemed like he was enthusiastic while teaching and then when he was done with teaching his enthusiasm would turn off and it would feel like you are talking to a different person when you have questions.Other than his split personality, it was fine

This is the only teacher so far that i have liked at UVU. All the others are boring and dont have fun activitys like grant does. He enjoys being there and teaching. Great professor 5 stars.

he's kind of an anomoly. He teaches with such passion like he's a revolutionary professor and yet he grades like a biology professor. I did every assignment but 2 (out of 15) and got good grades and ended up with a C-? in the same semester i took 3 other upper division business classes and got A's so i'm not a poor student. no progress reports.

I think this class is pretty simple. Not too much work, just come occasionally and you'll get a good grade. Just fill out the evaluations on yourself every couple weeks, even if you BS it. Pretty simple though. He was nice. But we'll see when finals come back.....

There were times that I felt he gave me less respect because I a woman. He is not clear in what he wants done but wants brillant work. I feel that I would have gained just a much by reading the book Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. At times he seems to not believe what he's teaching.

He was a good teacher. this class is way easy. we had a weekly assingment and two tests that where essay tests. He doesn't write the tests he just teaches the class. I would recomend him for seven habits.

He is very unclear in explanations and grading, even though his tests are just vocab lists rehashed from Philosophy 1010. Even though I got an A in everything, somehow I still got an A- in the class. NO discussion of ethical topics, just reuse of 1010.

He doesn't teach you what he wants you to know, but then he wants brilliant papers. He promises that he won't curve grades, but then no one would get even a B. In the end he has to, but everyone's stressed in the meantime and we don't learn anything.
