He is absolutely one of the wisest, the most awesome and helpful instructors I have ever seen. He is really an expert in this area, and he has the insight of identifying and telling students what their advantage, disadvantage and potentials are, and he is good at encouraging students and promoting his students. I benefit a great lot from the class

He is the single most valuable asset of the entire department. Why? Because he has an ability to make you ask the tough questions about yourself and whether you want to be in this field or not. I've never had a professor before him or since, that forced me to ask myself the hard questions and then, forced me to answer them with incredible work

I learned an exceptional amount in Greeley's class, namely that I do not want to be a reporter. He's a good teacher and he doesn't take any excuses, and I appreciate the fact that I've been forewarned about the downsides of reporting. Greeley, thanks for everything, and summer '04 B1ers have fun!!

Greeley changed my life. He is the most involved professor I've ever had. If you want to become an ethical journalist, take his class and really listen to him. Let him push you beyond what you thought you could do. He is the best journalism professor at Mizzou.

Stop whining. Greeley kicks your butt so the real world won't have to. If your grade's not what you wanted it to be, you were obviously one of those "out of the station by 9" types. If you want easy classes, go be a business major.

Greeley taught me to run...run fast...from journalism. If the real world is as hard as his class...NO THANKS. He ruined my GPA and my life for a semester. I worked my a** off and all my grades suffered because of it. I learned very little!

Excellent classes. Really, deeply cares about students learning outside the classroom and at KOMU. Commanding presence, will make you a better reporter while learning all the nuts and bolts you need to be ready for KOMU. You'll work hard - but keep going.
