"Strength of Materials" GREAT instructor. Gives good examples. Lots of homework to build upon your grade and knowledge. Very smart instructor, and will always listen when you have questions. Tests are almost exactly like homework and classwork examples. Take him if you want to learn, don't take him if you're a lazy bum.

Great nap class. Small mistakes are worth a letter grade, big ones worth a ton. Late work even if it is 2 or 3 seconds worth a letter grade. Easy, however, just follow the text. And keep the computer screens off!

He is by far the best professor I have ever had!!! I have had Dr. Watkins, as a professor, numerous times in my academic career. He has an excellent way of explaining difficult material. If you want to learn the material, take his class. If you want to get-by, without working, then find another major.

Very helpful, but his grading far from perfect. Minus letter grades for incorrect order of drawings, no staple, or turning it in 3 seconds late. He seems to resent people that do not attend class.

Give clear and precise lectures. He teaches very hard material effectivly. You can expect his tests to be problems just like the lectures and HW. just don't let your cell or beeper ring during class. he keeps it for a week.
