She is a good professor with the experience to back her up in her field. She might be a little boring at time but she is a super nice lady. If you like to come late ot classes or miss school, this is not the class for you, attendance is not mandatory but it is part of your grade, easy class even if you like to do your homework and read. I like that she teaches old school style.

Dr. Scott lectures daily, mostly directly from the text, and she shows videos periodically. There are quizzes over each chapter that are answered in class together. There are 4 exams, half of the exam comes from the T/F quizzes. Final is not comprehensive. Attendance is mandatory, but the class is easy.

Just read the book. Tests are exactly the same as the quizzes she gives you the answers to. Attendance is pretty much the only thing that matters. Lectures are unhelpful as they are a basic outline of the chapter. If you ask a question, you will probably not get a straight answer.

Lots of quizzes, but are helpful for the tests, tests are short, no papers or anything. easy A or B! she is really boring but it's an easy grade, she acts like she is so educated that can't answer your personal questions but on the other hand easy class. just block out her lecture and read the textbook for yourself!!!

READ the book, IGNORE the prof. He inability to answer relevent student questions was disturbing. Her lectures are pointless. She has no creativity and can't make the subject interesting. Tests only covered text book material and nothing else.

Okay, I am going to be specific! I have scott right now and this is how the class goes: class begins, 10 mins. later door closes, she talks for 55min str8, monotone, boring, quiz everyday-not for grade its for attendance which is mandatory! Then we have 4 emams based on those quizzes! Sooo easy, but sooo boring, bring ur laptop! she hates it!

Professor Scott is a good professor. I made A's on all of her test. The questions from the open book quizzes are on the test along ith other questions from the book. If you study the questions from the quizzes, that is half of the test. There is no reason to make a low grade in her class. She gives points for attendance and the quizzes. Every effor

Avoid at all costs. She is so boring and monotoneous. She can actually lecture for the whole class time. Also none of the in class quizzes or the tests come from her lectures. But she does require you attend class and be bored out of your mind. my advice if you do take her read the book
