A book was required, but it was an old and inexpensive book that was actually very informative- I will be adding it to my home library. Dr A is a great professor and I have to say this class has helped me in so many areas from public speaking to organization of thoughts and really this class would benefit anyone. You will love the class & Dr A!

She's very partial and has no basis for grading. She does not tell you what she is looking for before you give a speech. By far one of the worst teachers I had. And she doesn't use the same basis to grade everyone's paper. It's all about what she thinks is good.

Very easy class. I suggest taking it over PC 3250. If she's feeling in a good mood she will let you use notes/computer for a few minutes during the tests. Got myself an easy "A" that way. Very easy to do her speeches, no memorization.

Very nice, kind of hard to understand at times. The notes are usually word documents that she scrolls through, which makes your eyes hurt. She takes attendance. 2 tests you have to study. other than that pretty good class!

Dr. Ablamowicz is a good professor to take. She displays an interest in the student and if you study for the tests, show up for daily assignments, and do the speech projects you are assigned to do (which are not too difficult), then you will do great.

She is a great teacher. I took this class over the Summer and got an A in it. There was not a lot of work involved, and she made the class fun. I would recommend Dr. A to anyone for Speech. Also, this is a great class to take during the summer.

It's very easy to get a good grade in her class...so easy that I didn't really even try at the end and still came out with a B. She gave extra credit and grades speeches leniently (Sp?) Do study for the test....study for it and you'll make an a in the class..

She is incredibly easy! She doesn't grade on speaking skills, but on your outline. Follow her examples exactly, and you'll make a 100 on every speech! Midterm is very easy if you pay attention. Highly recommended!

Yeah so I haven't done well in her class but I think it's bc I just wasn't really into any of the topics. She is very hard to pay attention to when she lectures. Make good outlines. Be in the time frame. Not an easy A unless you kick ass at public speaking.
