Comment:

Professor had a difficult time teaching this course. I give him points for trying, but he gave example problems that he was reading off of the solution. It was obvious he didn't prepare for the class beforehand. Couldn't explain why shear flow was important. Wish I actually learned something from this class.

This was probably the first time he had taught Aero. Structures and it was obvious. Homework problems were useless as they did not cover the material learned in class. Office hour generally were not very useful. Class was not too difficult, but I didn't learn much either.

He was very nice, very helpful, and very difficult to pay attention to for two hours. I was predispositioned to boredom in this class because was essentially A.P. Physics through a different lens (making it a good review class for me), but his lecture style did not help me.

This professor was one of the best I've had. He really made IEA @ 8am the best it could be. Much better than the other professors teaching it that semester. He cares about the students and is very clear.

class sucked (8 am), every morning he started off with 'i guess not many are coming to class since it is so early'. but he went over examples and taught the information well. he cared about how the students did in class. overall a good guy

He's pretty good for a low-level introductory course...From what I gather his IEA classes have done slightly better than other professors' on exam grades...Seems to actually care about how his students do in the class - something that a lot of professors here don't have, especially in the larger-sized classes.

He gave you everything you needed on the website before class and made the lectures fairly clear. He was a little hard to understand, but he tries his best. He also knows when he's putting the class to sleep and will usually move on to the next part of the lecture if that is the case.
